The products of Urban Iki are developed and produced according to the highest quality standards. The front and rear seats (up to 6 years) have been tested according to the highest applicable Europese safety requirement EN 14344 and are also TÜV checked.

Front seat Urban Iki | 9 months till 3 years, max 15 kg. Your child is allowed to sit in the Urban Iki front seat from the moment it is able to sit independently. Most of the time, this is from an age of 9 months. The maximum weight for your child in the front seat is 15 kg. Rear seat Urban Iki | 9 months till 6 years, max 22 kg. For children younger than 6 years or less than 22 kg, the rear seat of Urban Ik is the most perfect fit. Because of the adjustable height of the shoulder paddings, also the youngest are able to use the rear seat.

Yes, the Urban Iki bicycle seats are also suitable for e-bikes.

For the front seats, locks are available as accessories in our webshop. The rear and junior seats come with an integrated lock. Two keys are included as standard. Only the MIK HD bike seats do not come with a lock.

The front seat can easily be switched between two bikes. To attach the front seat to two bikes, you can purchase an additional compact adapter or MTB/ATB adapter. Check the image to see which mounting option you need for the second bike. If you need any assistance, feel free to contact us!  

When you slide the footrests on the front seat for the first time, it will hit a safety lug. To properly place the footrest, hold the seat upside down, make sure that the small handle to adjust it is up, and with a flat hand give a firm tap against the bottom of the footrest. The foot support clicks over the ridge and can now be adjusted in height.

The Junior bike seat cannot be used in combination with the frame mounting bracket. This bracket can carry up to 22 kilograms, while the Junior seat can handle loads of up to 35 kilograms. Using the frame mounting bracket with the Junior seat might risk overloading it. Unlike a regular luggage rack that's securely attached at multiple points, a frame mounting bracket is secured at just one point on the bike. This makes it less stable when carrying a load exceeding 22 kilograms. A potential solution could be to visit your local bike shop and have a suitable luggage rack installed.

Sure! To use your Junior bike seat on a second bike, it's important that this bike also has a suitable luggage carrier. In this blog, you'll find more information about the specifications your bike needs to meet to safely mount the Junior. To easily use your Junior bike seat on a second bike, you'll need:

• An extra mounting frame
• An extra set of Junior footrests
• Optional for bikes without spoke protectors: Junior foot protectors

Yes. There is a two year warranty on your Urban Iki product. This warranty period starts at the purchase date as noted on your orer confirmation or receipt. Please keep this mail or receipt so you can claim your warranty rights.

Warranty is excluded when:

• When the products have been used differently than suggested in the manual
• When the product can’t be offered with the original receipt within the valid warranty term
• When repairs on the Urban Iki seats have been executed by third parties
• When the defect is the result of wrong or inaccurate use or maintenance
• In case of negligence or an accident
• In case of normal wear and tear on (parts of) the Urban Iki seat

You can return your Urban Iki products till 30 days after you receive them. You can arrange a shipping label via our Return Portal.  The product you would like to send back has to be unused and in de state you did receive the product. Of course you can unpack your product to see if it fits your expectations.

Yes. The delivery costs will be 100% refundable when you return your entire order.

When your money will be on your bank account again depends on the payment method you selected. If you paid with creditcard or PayPal, the total amount will be returned on the same creditcard or PayPal account. If you paid with iDEAL, the total amount will be returned on your bank account. The total amount is going to be repaid within 14 days after we received your returned products.

No, the rear seat with integrated MIK HD mounting system does not work with other mounting methods such as carrier mounting or frame mounting. However, you can easily transfer the MIK HD rear seat to another MIK HD luggage carrier.

When your order is placed and paid before 2 PM (mon-fri), it will be send the same day. This does not apply for the weekend and holidays. With the Track & Trace code you receive you can follow your order. If the products are somehow not available, you will receive a message from us with the expected delivery date.

The delivery costs for The United Kingdom are £6,95.

After we send your order, you will receive a confirmation email with a Track & Trace code to follow your delivery.
