Urban iki.com considers careful handling of personal data important. Therefore, we shall carefully process and protect personal data. In doing so, we comply with the personal data processing requirements set out in the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). OGK Europe BV is the data controller for the processing operations. In this privacy statement we explain which personal data we collect and use, and for which purposes.
Because our data processing operations fall within the scope of the legal exemption regulations, these are not registered with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (CBP).
This privacy statement was last updated on 15 January 2017.
Recording personal data
By using our website you will leave certain data with us. This may include personal data. Personal data can be provided in an active and passive manner. Actively providing data involves data that you enter on our website or send us by email. In addition, data may be automatically stored on the website, sometimes without your being aware of it. In that case, data is provided in a passive manner. This privacy statement specifies which personal data that has been actively and passively submitted is processed and for what purposes.
We delete data that is no longer required. You have the right to request access to and correction or removal of your personal data. To prevent fraud and/or abuse we may request you to adequately identify yourself.
Customer data/placing orders
We store customer data that is necessary for the performance of the (purchase) agreement you enter into with us. Consider for example your name, your address details, your email address and data required for certain payment methods. This data will be linked to the specific order data of that moment. We use this data to deliver your order, to process payments and to contact you, if necessary, about the performance of the agreement.
To get the most from our website, it is possible to register. Following registration, we will keep the data you have entered, such as your name, address, city, telephone number and email address. We keep this information so that you do not need to enter it again, so that we can contact you in connection with the performance of the agreement, if necessary, and so that we can show you an overview of your orders.
Email and newsletter
If you complete a contact form on the website or send us an email, the information you send us will be retained for as long as required according to the nature of the form or of your email to fully answer and complete it.
Consumers who place an order through our webshop will automatically receive our newsletter (maximum 1 per week). Through this free email newsletter we keep interested people informed about the products on our website and related issues, such as new collections and actions. Every newsletter contains a link that allows you to opt out of receiving the newsletter.
The subscriber file of the newsletter and the other emails are not disclosed to third parties.
Disclosure to third parties
We will not disclose your information to third parties, unless this is required under the agreement you have entered into with us or when legally required. For example, we provide your address details to the deliverer we have engaged, so that they can deliver the ordered product to you. In case of suspicion of fraud or abuse of our website, we may also hand over personal data to the competent authorities.
In order to offer you Klarna’s payment methods, we might in the checkout pass your personal data in the form of contact and order details to Klarna, in order for Klarna to assess whether you qualify for their payment methods and to tailor those payment methods for you. Your personal data transferred is processed in line with Klarna’s own privacy notice.
Through these cookies we can track which pages you request. We use this information to remember your settings to ensure that you remain logged in during a session and so that we can provide you with an overview of your last viewed products. This allows us to optimise the ease of use of our website. You may refuse the use of these cookies through your browser settings. However, refusing to accept the cookies may limit the functionality and ease of use of the website.
Personal Data Security
We follow strict security procedures in order to prevent unauthorised access to personal data. Among other things, we use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) connections that protect all information exchanged between you and our website when you provide us with personal data.
Click behaviour and visitor data
Generic website visitor data is recorded. In this context, in particular the IP address of your computer, the username, the time of request, and the visitor’s browser’s data will be recorded and used for statistical analysis of visitor and click behaviour. We aim to keep this data as anonymous as possible. This data is not disclosed to third parties.
