Step 1: Mount the footrests
Click the two footrests upwards. Loosen the screws and take off the semi-circular casing.
With the Urban Iki AVS+ seat, you decide what you are going to do at any time. Do you want to go out spontaneously with your little one? No problem, with the AVS+ seat you attach it within minutes. And if your plans change, you remove it just as easily.
Click the two footrests upwards. Loosen the screws and take off the semi-circular casing.
Mount the footrests to the rear wheel frame and place the semi-circular housing for mounting on the opposite side. Now tighten the two screws, but do not tighten them fully yet. Use the Allen key for this.
Place the Junior AVS+ bike seat onto the AVS+ luggage carrier. Make sure the securing strap rests on the seat. To lock the seat into place, pull the black knob at the back of the seat outward. Then lift the lever and push the bike seat down. The bike seat will now click into the system. If the red sticker changes to green, the seat is securely attached. Check that the seat is firmly mounted by briefly moving it back and forth.
Put the safety strap around the frame of your bike. Make sure both buckles are on both sides of the frame tube. Secure the remaining part of the safety strap in the smaller buckle so that it doesn’t hang loose towards the wheel.
Turn the key to the right to lock the bike seat.
When you are ready to ride away, you can place the backrest up or down. Lift the cushion to use the safety belt. If you are not using it, safely tuck it away under the seat.
Loosen the securing strap and place it on the seat. Unlock the bike seat by turning the key to open the lock. Then pull the AVS+ knob on the back of the seat outward and lift the lever. The seat will now detach from the AVS+ luggage carrier.
Now that the Junior bicycle seat is on your bike, it’s time for new adventures! Your little one can show you the way, or can not stop talking about all the new impressions along the way. These are moments you will never forget. Upgrade your safety with a matching bicycle helmet. Also want to bring along a passenger on the front of your bike? Then take a look at our front seats.
