Frame mounted child bike seats
Urban Iki’s frame mounted child bike seats are the perfect solution if you want a rear seat for your child, but you don't have a bike rear rack for mounting. With the included frame mounting bracket, you easily create a safe and sturdy mounting point for your rear seat. This allows you to quickly hit the road with your little one and explore the world together. All Urban Iki rear bike seats with a frame mount are good looking, comfy, and super easy to use. How does a frame mounted bike seat work?
Our child bike seats with frame mounting are similar to our bike seat with rack mounting. The difference is that it isn’t mounted on a rack, but on a mounting bracket that is easily attached to your frame. This mounting bracket forms a reliable mounting point that meets all safety requirements. When the mounting bracket is fixed, it only takes five minutes to install the standard mounting frame. Thanks to our smart Click & Go system, you can put the seat in place or remove it in a matter of seconds. This comes in handy when you go for a ride without your little adventurer. If you want to use the seat on several bicycles, you can easily switch bikes with an additional mounting frame. If this bike doesn’t have a rear rack either, you only need a frame mounting block to switch your seat.
Safely mount your child bike seat to any frame
Our frame mounting bracket is compatible with any standard bicycle without a rear rack. Thanks to the wide adjustment options, the bracket always fits your frame perfectly to create a sturdy and safe attachment point. Speaking of safety, our frame mount for rear seats has been tested and approved by the TÜV safety institute and complies with the European safety standard EN 14344, just like the bicycle seats themselves.
Find a child bike seat with frame mount that matches your style
Our child bike seats with frame mount system aren’t just safe and comfortable, but a treat to the eyes as well. The rear seats are available in a number of beautiful Japanese-inspired colors, such as Bincho Black, Fuji Blue and Icho Green. If that isn’t enough, you can even
design your own bike seat! This means you can create a seat that perfectly matches your style and the style of your bike. Order yours now!
