Your bike is suitable for the Urban Iki Junior if the luggage carrier:

1. Suitable for heavier loads

This is a luggage carrier that meets the European safety standard EN14872. On most bikes in the Netherlands that meet this standard, it is indicated on the carrier itself. Not mentioned? In many cases you can find plenty of information about the carrier for your specific bike model online.

2. Is between 120 and 175 mm wide

This is the width needed to attach the standard included mounting frame to your luggage carrier. You can install it in just a few simple steps, and our mounting guide will help you get started.

Specifications for the frame tube where you mount the footrests

The frame tube for the footrests must have a diameter between 16–25 mm or 23–31 mm.

The Junior seat comes with two clamps included, suitable for a frame tube with a diameter of 16–25 mm.

Does your frame tube have a larger diameter? Then you can purchase the foot clamp XL set (23–31 mm) as an accessory.

What if?

If you have an electric bike

If you have a mid-motor or if the battery of your e-bike is located under your luggage carrier, then mounting the rear seat is no problem at all.

If your luggage carrier has a different shape

It’s not an issue if your luggage carrier is, for example, oval. The legs of the mounting frame can be adjusted to match the shape of your carrier.
