Your bike is suitable for the Urban Iki Junior if the luggage carrier:

 

 

1. Is suitable for the heavier load

This is a luggage carrier that meets the European safety standard EN14872. Most bicycles that meet this requirement have a sign or mention of this safety standard on the luggage carrier itself. Is it not listed? You can often find a lot of information about the luggage carrier of your bicycle online.

2. Is between 120 and 175 mm wide

This is the width that is required to fix the standard mounting frame on your luggage carrier. You can assemble it in just a few steps, use our mounting guide to help you on your way.

3. Has tubes for footrests with a diameter of 16 – 25 mm or 23 – 31 mm

The Junior bike seat comes with 2 clamps as standard for a frame tube with a diameter of 16–25 mm. Does your frame tube have a larger diameter? Then you can purchase the XL foot clamp (23–31 mm).

What if?

 

You have an e-bike?

Do you have a mid-engine or is the battery of your e-bike located beneath your luggage carrier? Then won’t find any problems when mounting the rear seat. Only if your battery is on the side of your bike will it not work to place the support bracket.

 

My luggage carrier has a different shape.

It is no problem if your luggage carrier is oval-shaped, for example. The legs of the mounting frame can be adjusted to the shape of your luggage carrier.
