Balance bike and tricycle in one
The tricycle is suitable for children aged 1 to 3 years, with a maximum weight of 20 kilograms. With a saddle height starting at 32.5 cm, the tricycle is ideal for little ones who are just starting their biking adventures.
The Urban Iki balance bike is a tricycle and balance bike in one. As a tricycle, the balance bike offers a lot of stability. This makes the bike, which can be set to different heights, suitable for the youngest (from 1 year old). Once they are a bit older, it can be converted into a balance bike. Balancing on it resembles real cycling. A balance bike is also better preparation for real cycling than using stabilisers. Challenging, but another big step. When you buy the tricycle, you have everything you need to convert it into a balance bike. All the mounting materials are included. The reverse is also possible: with the tricycle accessory set (sold separately), you can convert the balance bike into a tricycle. Great if, for example, a little brother or sister comes along!

The Urban Iki balance bike is not only super fun and great for development, but also a delight to behold. The bike has robust, rounded shapes, light-coloured tyres and many stylish details, such as brown handles and a brown saddle. The curve at the bottom of the frame can also be used as a handle when your child is tired of riding. The balance bikes are available in three stylish colours inspired by beautiful Japan, where Urban Iki’s roots lie. Kochia Pink refers to the amazing Kochia flowers that bloom in Japan, while the colour Mochi Green is inspired by the Japanese treat Mochi. The colour Inaho Beige represents the beginning of a new phase, perfectly befitting your little one’s first adventures.
Safety and quality
At Urban Iki, your little one’s safety comes first. Our balance bikes are tested according to the strict EN71 safety standard. This means that there are no sharp edges or small parts. The geometry of the bike is designed with optimal balance in mind. Thehandlebar is made to ensure that it does not flip over easily. This prevents falls. The extra space between the saddle and the rear wheel ensures that the feet have enough freedom of movement while riding. This way, your little one can push off fully without their heel getting caught under the wheel axle. So, your little one can enjoy a carefree adventure around the house or neighbourhood!
