With a baby, you often have a well-filled diaper bag with you. And as a parent of a toddler, most of the time you want to jump on your bike when the sun is out… But what if you find out after half an hour that your little one is getting sunburned, or getting hungry? That’s exactly why we have made a list of the essentials for a well-filled backpack.

What to carry with you at all times?

  • Something to drink
  • Bicycle helmet
  • Baby wipes (and of course diapers if your little one is not potty trained yet)
  • A hat or sun hat
  • Some fruits or another snack
  • Sunscreen or greasy cream for chapped cheeks in the wind
  • Sunglasses
  • Pacifier or favorite stuffed toy
  • Band aids
