How do you mount the Urban Iki front seat with the ICR Adapter Accell?

This adapter is specially designed for handlebar stems with integrated cables (ICR) from Batavus, Sparta, and Koga, featuring an integrated cable system. Mount the front seat in a few steps on your Batavus, Sparta, or Koga handlebar stem with integrated cables. Here’s what you’ll need:

Mount the front seat with the ICR Adapter Accell in 9 steps.

Step 1: Remove the cover cap from the handlebar stem of your bike.

Use your bike’s tools to remove the cover cap, for example, with an Allen wrench. Loosen the two bolts that are screwed into the top and back of the handlebar stem.

Step 2: Remove the cover cap from the handlebar stem of your bike.

Next, loosen the two horizontal bolts.

Step 3: Remove the handlebar from the handlebar stem.

Carefully remove the handlebar from the handlebar stem. Let the handlebar with the gear cables hang gently down. Remove the spacers from the handlebar stem.

Step 4: Slide the clamp ring onto the handlebar stem.

While carefully guiding the cables into the designated notches, slide the clamp ring onto the handlebar stem.

Step 5: Slide the ICR Adapter Accell onto the handlebar stem.

Remove the cover cap from the adapter. Guide the cables through the adapter’s designated notches and slide the adapter onto the clamp ring.

Step 6: Mount the handlebar onto the bike.

Place the handlebar back onto your bike and attach the cover cap. Tighten it securely using the bolt at the top of the handlebar stem, the bolt at the back, and the two horizontal bolts. Ensure that the metal bolt is fully seated in the handlebar.

Step 7: Tighten the bolt of the clamp ring securely.

Step 8: Mount the Urban Iki front seat onto the ICR Adapter Accell.

Take the Urban Iki front seat and fold the tab at the bottom of the seat down. Pull the part you’re holding towards you. Slide the seat onto the ICR Adapter Accell until you hear a “click.” Then, check if the seat is securely attached.

Step 9: Would you like to also mount an Urban Iki windscreen?

Slide the included bracket over the front of the adapter. Secure it by tightening the ring and bolt at the two attachment points. The bracket is now firmly mounted and ready for the windscreen to be clicked into place.

Not using a windscreen? Then, simply place the cover cap back onto the front of the adapter.

Here’s how to remove the Urban Iki front seat from the ICR Adapter Accell:

Press the tab at the bottom of the Urban Iki front seat and slide the seat upward. Next, remove the cover cap from the adapter and set it aside. Loosen the exposed Allen screw and nut using the Allen wrench and spanner. Set the Allen wrench, washers, and tools aside.

Now, loosen the handlebar from the handlebar stem, remove the ring, and set it aside. Then, remove the ICR Adapter Accell from the handlebar stem and put the ring back. Finally, place the handlebar back onto the handlebar stem of your bike.
