Your baby can join you on the bike from around 9 months

The Urban Iki front bike seat is suitable for babies and toddlers from around 9 months old – that’s the age when most children can sit upright on their own. This is essential for safe cycling.

Not sure if your baby is ready? Just check if they can sit up steadily without support for longer periods. That’s key to ensuring stability during your ride.

Age & weight guidelines

  • Age: suitable from ± 9 months to 3 years
  • Weight: up to 15 kg
  • Height: up to 93 cm

If your child is heavier than 15 kg, taller than 93 cm or older than 3, it’s time to switch to an Urban Iki rear seat. These provide more space, support more weight, and remain comfortable as your child grows.
