How to mount the U–me MIK HD rear seat

Thanks to the MIK HD luggage carriers, you can quickly switch between accessories on your bike. In just minutes, you can replace the bike bags with a child seat or head out spontaneously without any accessories. Why the MIK HD system is ideal

With the Urban Iki MIK HD rear seat, you decide what you are going to do at any time. Do you want to go out spontaneously with your little one? No problem, with the MIK HD seat you attach it within minutes. And if your plans change, you remove it just as easily.

 

Mount the MIK HD rear seat in 4 steps

Step 1: Attach the foot straps and place the footrests.

Slide the foot straps with the correct side facing forward into the footrest. Then click the footrests into the bike seat.

Step 2: Place the rear seat on the MIK HD carrier

Put the integrated MIK HD plate at the bottom of the seat on the MIK HD luggage carrier. Make sure that at this point, the safety strap rests on the seat. To secure the seat, press down the black button at the back of the seat. While holding the black button down, push the gray MIK HD button forward, towards the seat. The bike seat is now securely attached to the system. Check if the seat is firmly attached by briefly moving it back and forth.

Step 3: Attach the safety strap

Put the safety strap around the frame of your bike. Make sure both buckles are on both sides of the frame tube. Secure the remaining part of the safety strap in the smaller buckle so that it doesn’t hang loose towards the wheel.

Step 4: Adjust the rear seat to your child

Now that the seat is securely attached, adjust the footrests to the correct height by moving the clips at the back closer together.

The shoulder straps can be adjusted to three heights and can be tightened or loosened using the buckles.

How to demount the Urban Iki MIK HD rear seat

Release the safety strap and place it onto the seat. Press the MIK HD button at the rear of the seat and continue pressing towards the seat. The seat will now release from the MIK HD carrier
