Which bike seat for bicycles with integrated cables?

Nowadays, more and more bicycles have cables integrated into the stem. The Urban Iki front seat can also be mounted on these stems with integrated cables (ICR). For this, we offer the ICR Adapter Acros and the ICR Adapter Accell. Both adapters have been tested and approved by the TÜV safety institute. Thanks to the smart design of these adapters, there is no risk of damaging the cables while steering.

The Urban Iki ICR Adapter Accell is designed for stems of Batavus, Sparta, and Koga bicycles with an integrated cable system through the stem.

The Acros adapter is specifically designed for bicycles with a stem based on the Acros system. You can recognize this type of stem by the engraving “Acros” on the front of the bike, just below the stem.

Which bicycle seat fits my electric bike?

With an electric bike, you and your little one get to the most beautiful places very fast. E-bikes are becoming more and more popular. With that in mind, we made our products suitable for mounting on the stem and luggage carrier of an electric bicycle.

Urban Iki front seat for an electric bike

The Urban Iki front seat fits on the stem of an e-bike with a diameter between 21 and 28 mm. The compact adapter, that you will use to mount the front seat, needs a minimum of 19 mm in height. Is there less space on your bike’s stem? No worries, we’ve got smart alternatives! With the MTB/ATB adapter, the ICR adapter Acros, or the ICR adapter Accell, you can still easily and securely mount a front seat. A perfect fit, hassle-free!

Urban Iki rear seat on an electric bike

The Urban Iki rear seat with carrier mounting and the Junior seat fit on the luggage carrier of most electric bicycles. The battery under the luggage carrier or the mid-engine is not a problem. If the battery is on the side of the e-bike the Urban Iki rear seat cannot be mounted due to the footrests that are part of the bicycle seat.

Does your e-bike have an oval luggage carrier? No problem! You can adjust the legs of the mounting frame as desired. The rear seat with carrier mounting always comes with the Urban Iki mounting frame. If you buy an extra mounting frame, you can easily switch the seat between two bicycles.

Which bike seat is suitable for my mountain bike?

A mountain bike usually does not have a luggage carrier and a short stem. That is why we invented the MTB/ATB adapter. This accessory ensures that the Urban Iki front seat can be placed on stems shorter than 19 mm. The MTB/ATB adapter only needs 4mm in height. In combination with the front seat, the adapter also makes it possible to mount an Urban Iki windshield.

Which bike seat is suitable for a bike without a luggage carrier?

You can easily and quickly install the frame mounting bracket on bicycles without a luggage carrier. Mount the bracket to the frame of your bicycle to create a sturdy luggage carrier (which has been tested and approved by the independent German TÜV institute). After that, just place the Urban Iki rear seat with frame mounting on the mounting bracket. Easy as 1, 2, 3! Do you like to switch the rear seat between bicycles? Use the handy Urban Iki Frame block. With this accessory you can easily click the mounting bracket onto more bicycles.

Which bike seat for bicycles with MIK (HD) system?

Thanks to a MIK HD luggage carrier, you can quickly switch between accessories such as a child seat, bicycle bag or dog bed. Do you have such a carrier? Then you can install the standard Urban Iki child seat using the supplied mounting frame. It is however even more convenient to choose for the MIK HD Urban Iki rear seat and the Junior seat MIK HD with integrated MIK HD adapter plate. This allows you to release the seat in no time. Very useful if you go out without your little one!

Which bicycle seat fits on a bicycle with a transport rack?

The Urban Iki front seat fits on a bicycle with a transport rack. The transport rack might get in the way of the footrests. If this is the case, place the transport rack slightly forward. If this does not work, a bicycle mechanic can do this for you.

The Urban Iki rear seat can be mounted on the luggage carrier of a transport bike. For both the rear seat and the Junior seat, the luggage carrier must be between 120 and 175 mm wide. It also has to meet the EN14872 standard and it has to be suitable to carry at least 27 kilos.
