Your bike is suitable for the Urban Iki rear seat if the luggage carrier:

 

1. Is suitable to carry 27 kilos

This is a luggage carrier that meets the European safety standard EN14872. Most bicycles that meet this requirement have a sign or mention of this safety standard on the luggage carrier itself. Is it not listed? You can often find a lot of information about the luggage carrier of your bicycle online.

 

2. Is between 120 and 175 mm wide

This is the width that is required to mount the standard mounting frame on your luggage carrier. Additionally, the shape and thickness of the tube of your luggage carrier are also important; check all the specifications in the image. What if?

 

You have an e-bike?

Do you have a mid-engine or is the battery of your e-bike located beneath your luggage carrier? Then won’t find any problems when mounting the rear seat. Only when your battery is on the left or right side of your bike, the leg parts will not fit.

 

My luggage carrier has a different shape?

It is no problem if your luggage carrier is oval-shaped, for example. The legs of the mounting frame can be adjusted to the shape of your luggage carrier.

 

My luggage carrier is more narrow?

Is your luggage carrier narrower? For luggage carriers starting from 110 mm, the rear seat with Easyfix mounting is suitable. If your luggage carrier is even narrower, it is likely that it cannot carry 27 kilograms. In that case, the Urban Iki rear seat with frame mounting is a good option for you.
