Why choose a balance bike?
A balance bike is perfect for practising for the real thing. Your child learns to steer, strengthens their legs and can already practise balancing. This helps your child develop step by step, both literally and figuratively. From laps around the living room to walks around the block, and maybe even rides to the petting zoo or playground. Going further each time, while they build coordination, motor skills and self-confidence without even realising it. But riding a balance bike is not only good for their development. Tricycle
The tricycle is suitable for children aged 1 to 3 years, with a maximum weight of 20 kilograms. With a saddle height starting at 32.5cm, the tricycle is ideal for little ones who are just starting their biking adventures.
Balance bike
The balance bike requires more coordination and control. As a parent, you can judge whether your little one is ready for a new challenge. To use the balance bike, it is recommended that your child can walk confidently.
The saddle height of the balance bike also starts at 32.5 cm and can be raised to 42.5 cm. This makes the balance bike suitable for children aged 2 to 6 years, with a maximum weight of 35 kilograms.

The bike has robust, rounded shapes, light-coloured tyres and many stylish details, such as brown handles and a brown saddle. The curve at the bottom of the frame can also be used as a handle when your child is tired of riding. The balance bikes are available in three stylish colours inspired by beautiful Japan, where Urban Iki’s roots lie. Kochia Pink refers to the amazing Kochia flowers that bloom in Japan, while the colour Mochi Green is inspired by the Japanese treat Mochi. At Urban Iki, your little one’s safety comes first. Our balance bikes are tested according to the strict EN71 safety standard. This means that there are no sharp edges or small parts. The geometry of the bike is designed with optimal balance in mind. The handlebar is made to ensure that it does not flip over easily. This prevents falls. The extra space between the saddle and the rear wheel ensures that the feet have enough freedom of movement while riding.
